As you are all aware, Amaravati is the capital city of the newly formed Andhra Pradesh and historically, it was under the Kakatiya dynasty. This area which is being called “kammanadu” was under the rule of Kakatiya kings. This area was last ruled from Dharanikota as capital, by sri Raja Vasireddy Venkatadri Nayudu And Smt.Rani Rudrama Devi’s maternal relations were from this region.

After the bifurcation of the unified state in 2014, the Andhra Pradesh Government has acquired 33,000 acres of land from the farmers of Thullur Mandal to raise the capital Amaravati from scratch. It was possible just because of the sheer brilliance of Sri Chandra Babu Naidu, and the trust the farmers of Thullur Mandal has on him as a leader par excellence. Amaravati is going to be the number one capital in the country soon. As a parallel sequel to this development, our community elders decided to form a non-profit organization called “KAKATIYA CONVENTION SOCIETY” to serve and help the current as well as future needs of generation of our community. We have currently a robust strength of 500 members in our society.

To cater to the various needs and plans, our society has acquired 15 acers of land in Mothadaka village which is quite close to the Capital as well as to Guntur. The foundation stone was laid in April,2019, and our center is well accessed by all the main roads. Our KICC is quite close to the airport, Secretariat, High Court, Capital City and the inner ring road.
