Many young people of this area have gone abroad seeking bright future and to lead a peaceful life with better standards. But the dependent parents and senior citizens have to stay back in their respective homes without proper moral and emotional support. The youngsters while leaving the country would leave with a heavy heart as they can not take their parents also along for various obvious reasons like the visa rules. Some senior citizens want to live independently with out being burden to their children and their other family members. They deserve a better life with a close nit community and with all the necessities being looked after by somebody at a reasonable cost. We provide to the senior citizens what they miss in their respective homes. We are hopeful and confidant that the senior citizens would have a large joint family as a “Vasudaika Kutumbam” once they become inmates of this Old Age Home.

Considering these factors, KICC has decided to construct an Old Age Home in its premises. In present we intend to take in only 100 inmates into the old age home and later, as the need arises, we may expand further.

In the light of what has been planned on an ambitious level, we invite and seek donations from the members and our community.

Statues of those persons as suggested by the major donors, will be erected in the Old Age Home or KCS premises, and who will eligible as major donors will be decided by the management.

If a donor contributes Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five hundred thousand only), his or her name plate will be prominently placed on an executive room. The donor may choose his/her parents or grand-parents, whose name will be displayed.

Donors will get priority and concession in charges for the use of Old Age Home.

Use of Old age home is open to Donors, Life members and their relatives on priority basis.

Right of admission to home and the charges to be paid by users will be decided by the management of KICC.

Required medical assistance like nursing care, doctor visits and ambulance service in case of emergencies will be provided.

We have decided to celebrate the birthdays, Mother’s / Father’s Days for the well-being of the senior citizens. In the unfortunate eventuality of an inmate of old age home passing away, and If the children of that particular inmate are away and are not in a position to visit on time, we are even prepare to take care of the cremation and other related rituals as the inmates deserve to be treated with dignity in their last journey.
